Crow Canyon first focused on the Microsoft Exchange Server and Outlook environments, but once SharePoint rose to prominence as Microsoft’s collaboration platform, around 2007, the company expanded to providing applications and business services on SharePoint. Now, with the growing use of Office 365, Crow Canyon has again kept ahead by developing applications and tools that greatly enhance the capabilities of Office 365.

Job Duties

As part of the Operations team, the Configuration Management Specialist will have the following duties:

  • Work with customers to gather requirements for configuration and customizations on top of Microsoft 365 (primarily SharePoint and Teams) and our M365-based application
    • Work closely with the Sales Team, Development Team, and customers to gather detailed customization and configuration requirements
    • Write up scoping documents and statements of work based on the requirements
  • Work with customers to configure and customize applications using Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Azure, etc) and Crow Canyon’s proprietary NITRO Studio toolset
  • Communicate hours estimates and detailed scope of work to Sales or Account Manager as appropriate
  • Provide ongoing support for applications developed with custom configurations
  • Provide knowledge transfer of developed applications both internally to Crow Canyon’s support team and externally to the customer
  • Create and Update support-related content such as
    • Application and NITRO Studio Manuals o FAQs on www.crowcanyon.help
    • Tutorials on www.crowcanyon.com
    • Other materials as needed
  • Stay informed on the latest Crow Canyon product releases and updates
  • Stay informed on the latest Microsoft 365 and Office 365 technologies
  • Clearly communicate information and details to all concerned parties to make sure Crow Canyon provides efficient and effective service to our customers
  • Able to work from our office in South Kingstown, RI
  • Other duties as assigned

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree, preferably in Computer Science or related field
  • 3+ years working with Microsoft 365 (especially SharePoint and Teams) at an administrative and/or application development level
  • 1-2 years configuration management work
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Language: English

Preferred

  • Ability to write JavaScript
  • Ability to write HTML

Pay
$35/hr to $40/hr
